Runswick Bay in Bloom...

You would be forgiven for thinking this is some faraway place, a location somewhere in Italy perhaps or at the very least somewhere “very south” like Cornwall. But this is North Yorkshire! Runswick Bay is a small former fishing village located north of Whitby and east of the North Yorkshire Moors. The village has retained its incredibly beautiful old fashioned charm with tiny alleyways, pretty cottages and amazing views over the sea. Visiting even for an afternoon feels like being on holiday (especially on a sunny day!) and I could have taken a million photographs. But I’ll leave you with the ones here and hope you like them.

PS: you might have noticed that the images on my blog posts have become smaller. This is because, whilst I really love the BIG images, it can make it tricky to view them in their entirety. What are your thoughts?
