One Day Intensive Photography Workshop 13th October 2018

245.00

After holding workshops that combined photography and styling, I noticed that there was a real desire from participants to learn more about the technical aspects of photography and how to really make the most of their cameras in order to take better photos. So, I have decided to offer just that. A day filled with intensive learning about camera settings, light, composition and framing, and much more.

Whether you're looking to create beautiful images for your website, business, blog or Instagram, or you would like to learn how to photograph for your personal portfolio, this workshop will give you the tools needed.

We will start with an introduction to basic manual camera settings followed by some practical exercises. You will learn about lenses, angles to shoot from, how to manipulate light and how to shoot dark and moody as well as light and airy images. To round it all off, you will also learn about post processing in Lightroom and/or Photoshop.

The day includes a cosy, home cooked lunch, which will give us a chance to chat and get to know each other a little better.

Please make sure you bring your camera (I’m afraid a phone won’t do in this instance) and - if you have - your tripod.

As this workshop concentrates on photography more than styling, the few props needed are provided. However, if there are favourite items you would like to include in your images, you're of course welcome to bring those.
